LiFe's~~~PrOUd tO Be a sInGapOrEaN?

The bus was fairly crowded. I was standing near the doorway since people are already filled to the back of the bus. A nudge from the back. Before i even have the time to turn my back to him, "Seeeeeeck!!!", the irritating sound made by the tongue and saliva. A hard push, partly shoving me to the side before he made his "great escape" out of the bus.
Like please.....Is "excuse me" that difficult to say?? You're not like running away from war or something. Yes, action speaks louder than words, and if you do that to me again, i'll make sure you miss a bus stop or you go down the bus by the "rolling" method. So much for schools, what we've learnt? NOTHING! But then again, it's not about IQ, it's EQ. I'm sad to say that most singaporeans probably screwed EQ. **Haizz**
Singaporeans c'mon, let's say it together:" Excussseee meeee!" That's right. Remember to say it ok? OKAY......( So much for baby spoon feeding.)
The "GREAT" Singapore Sale is held every year and yes singaporeans for typically into such sales, queueing up to enter the stores way before opening hours. And when it's finally open, unlike schools where you line up in twos and in orderly manner, they fly in as if the stocks would be cleared before they can lay their hands on it. Thus, it the junction (door), just like the Hello Kitty incident, people fall down while rushing(haha, serve you right), bang the door(maybe it's just because they're over-sized) and even quarrels on who came first blah blah blah. Ugly sight? Indeed. That's been a repeated story. More re-enactment? you bet it.
Singaporeans, what's the meaning of a sale, besides huge discounts and giveaways? It is clearing of their unwanted stocks. So? They have plently of them, why rush for it? Why queue for it before it's open? Why? Why? Why? Because.... we're SINGAPOREANS.
i was walking on the overhead bridge, and witnessed a car accident with a bicycle. Yes, BIG HOO-HAA. But, people near there just turned their heads to watch and only a non-typical singaporean went by to help the cyclist out, who was bleeding profusely. I don't get those singaporeans, they can stand like 20 meters near the accident area and WATCH , STARE, SEE SEE LOOK LOOK, but do nothing to help, to lift a finger to call the bloody ambulance. They can stand there and " eh, accident leh...whoa the car fault la, blah blah."
Singaporeans c'mon...that poor guy is hit, as in whang bang, ouch ouch, you know pain pain? So what should you do? HELP!!! Not frickin' stand there as if you're watching a movie. Don't wanna help? SCRAM!!! Like please, show some sense of humanity.
So do you think i am proud to be a singaporean? you could have guessed already. But seriously, that's the way we're operating. We're already protraying a pathetic picture and we still want to continue painting it? Is it something to be proud of? Should we just accept it? Questions. Apprently what we are learning in school about moral education is'nt that "moralistic" afterall.
So is it really the education that is hurting our moral values? Or is it just what we should or should not do. Singaporeans should really instill their mannerism and know the DO's and DONT'S. Maybe then i'll be really proud to be a Singaporean. I hope.
Sealed with hope,
Ace

Don't I love your writing sense? (almost my complete alter ego in that area)
This should get more publicity but then again... like.. whats the use... I'm still betting on the next human (wrong word??) flood outside stores having sales even when they're aware of this crap. gosh, I think its no more about EQ/IQ.. its about common sense and having none of it. oh wait... i'm supposed to be pro-singaporean... or should i.
